Interview | Shawty Lo Talks About “All His Baby Mamas”

By now we’ve all heard about Shawty Lo’s new one hour document series set to hit Oxygen’s Network air waves soon. Since the preview of the show hit the web, people have been outraged about how the show makes black people look. 1 man, 11 kids, and 10 baby mamas is a bit much. Is mainstream America ready to be exposed to this type of coonery?

The Atlanta Rapper some-what explains his stance on the situation, in the interview below:

Oxgen issued a statement regarding the show:

Oxygen’s one-hour special in development is not meant to be a stereotypical representation of everyday life for any one demographic or cross section of society. It is a look at one unique family and their complicated, intertwined life. Oxygen Media’s diverse team of creative executives will continue developing the show with this point of view.
