R&B Divas is expanding the  popular TV One series. R&B Divas: LA is set to air later this year. The show’s story line is featured around  Michel’le Toussaint, Lil’ Mo, Chanté Moore, Kelly Price, Dawn Robinson, & Claudette Ortiz.

Billboard Reports:

All six of the “R&B Divas: LA” cast members have been R&B chart fixtures. Price is best known for the hits “Friend of Mine” and Whitney Houston’s “Heartbreak Hotel” featuring Price and Faith Evans. Moore’s chart hits include “Chanté’s Got a Man” and “Love’s Taken Over.” Robinson is a former member of the R&B/pop female group En Vogue (“Hold On,” “My Lovin’,” “Giving Him Something He Can Feel”) and Lucy Pearl (“Dance Tonight”). Lil’ Mo’s biggest hits include her collaborations with Ja Rule (“Put It on Me”) and Fabolous (the latter’s “Can’t Let You Go” and her own “Superwoman Pt. II”). Ortiz was the lead singer of the trio City High (“What Would You Do?”), while Toussaint, billing herself by her first name, scored the hits “No More Lies” and “Something in My Heart.”

The second season of the original series, “R&B Divas,” is currently filming. Its original cast — Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert-Daniels, Monifah Carter, Syleena Johnson and Keke Wyatt — is back on board and will be joined by Angie Stone and LaTocha Scott (XScape). Although a premiere date has not yet been announced, the target date will be sometime in second quarter 2013.

Claudette Ortiz formely of City High has quite the story. She was involved with both of her City High group mates. Michel’le story is bound to be a good one also, she has a child with Dr. Dre and she was married to Suge Knight.
