Kim & Kanye Grace The Cover of Vogue & The Girls Are Mad

I can just imagine Kim Kardashian screaming out “n*gga we made it” because she finally made it to the cover of Vogue along side her fiancée Kanye West.

Rumor has it that Vogue editor, Anna Wintour was just not here for Kim K. because of her less than tasteful ticket to fame. If you let Wendy Williams tell it, Anna swore to never let a talentless reality star on the cover of the prestigious Vogue cover.

Now that the cover has hit the internet everyone and their momma’s had something to say about Kimye. I think Kim is a fashion icon, regardless of how she did it, she did it. She has made a name for herself, she managed to have a respectable relationship, she’s a mom and she’s an entrepreneur. People shouldn’t be so mad at this girl. Let her live her life, because you being mad isn’t going to stop the show, clearly.

Anna spoke out in Kimye’s defense:

“Part of the pleasure of editing Vogue, one that lies in a long tradition of this magazine, is being able to feature those who define the culture at any given moment, who stir things up, whose presence in the world shapes the way it looks and influences the way we see it. I think we can all agree on the fact that that role is currently being played by Kim and Kanye to a T. (Or perhaps that should be to a K?)

As for the cover, my opinion is that it is both charming and touching, and it was, I should add, entirely our idea to do it; you may have read that Kanye begged me to put his fiancée on Vogue‘s cover. He did nothing of the sort. The gossip might make better reading, but the simple fact of the matter is that it isn’t true.”
