Dirty 30 Weight Loss

 

I’ve been on a healthy life style kick lately. Back in March, I decided to take a full body picture and upload it to my social media sites. Immediately, I had several people, mainly men feel the need to tell me I was getting “fat.” Not that I care what anyone says, but hearing that you’re getting fat and stepping on the scale seeing 172lbs makes you rethink things when you’re normally between 130 – 145lbs.

My Mother called me a round butter ball and my dad told me that I was getting bigger as well. I decided that I wanted to lose weight and become an overall healthier person. Not for anyone else, but for me.

My goal was to lose 27lbs which would make me 145lbs by my 30th birthday which is July 14th. Today I am 149lbs! My only hope is that I don’t lose my butt (lol).

I cut out sodas and juice, I only drink water. I stop eating meat for only 10 days. When I first stared I started taking Garcinia Cambogia supplements. Which was a good jump start.

I started to walk/lightly jog at least 3 days a week. Now that it is getting hotter outside, I go to the gym more. I used to be a heavy snacker, like eating 3 to 4 Rice Crispy treats a day. I cut out sweets all together, sometimes I get a craving. If I do eat a sweet it’s a small portion. I try not to eat past 8 o’clock. For a good 2 months I used the App: Lose It which helped me to count calories and monitor my exercise routines.
