Beyonce Talks About Breastfeeding & Weight Loss

Everyone has formulated an opinion as to why Beyonce’s figure bounced back so quickly after giving birth. I mean no one questioned Heidi Klum skinny butt! Many thought that she didn’t actually carry baby Blue Ivy. I think that this is foolish, but I must admit when I first heard of Bey’s pregnancy, I automatically thought she would gain tons and weight, and take on the body shape of pre-surgery Tina Knowles (shade, but no shade). Beyonce admitted to gaining 50lbs during preganacy, but credits breastfeeding as helping burn off the extra pounds.

“I lost most of my weight from breastfeeding and I encourage women to do it. It’s just so good for the baby and good for yourself…..I did a lot of walking in the beginning and now I’m running, but I had to work my way up. I couldn’t just go right from being pregnant to running.” Beyonce told People magazine.

I personally know that breastfeeding does help you lose weight after giving birth. Kudos for Bey she didn’t have to go the Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers route, lol.
